Electronic Personal Organizer

With our busy schedules these days, a personal organizer is a great help.  This organizer serves as our appointment calendars, diary and even address books. Recent years saw the introduction of electronic personal organizer which is still a day planner, a personal analog assistant but with innovations being either personal information manager software for personal computers or an electronic personal digital assistant (PDA). These electronic personal organizers still include the functions of notebooks, rolodexes and almanacs.

This electronic version displays electronically pages like a loose-leaf binder on a screen. There is a selection of operational modes that allow input and storage of data or information. These can be graphics, messages, addresses, notes or something else stored on the representative pages. Input can be written and stored on to the organizer using a stylus to the input tablet.

What is nice about this electronic personal organizer is that it displays what appear to be like pages bound in a portable notebook. It simulates the function of conventional notebook that makes it possible for the user to enter data and information into it. It even shows pages arranged into various sections and divided by page breakers. The user can use the stylus to store his or her handwriting with the use of alpha-numeric characters in the electronic device.

Unlike a conventional notebook, this electronic personal organizer can store up to thousands of entries like thousands of addresses and phone numbers. Aside from the phone/ address book, it has the memo function, a calendar, what to do list, birthday/anniversary prompter, calculator with conversion and serves as world clock. It even serves as expense manager, alarm to remind of appointments, translator of 24,000- English/Spanish words.  There are also games incorporated to keep the user entertained in between appointments.  Some models even include conversion mode for currency and metric measurements. The address books are categorized into 3 kinds: “Unfiled” “Personal” and “Business” for organizing your contacts. The memo features can store account numbers to remind user and another important feature, a password lock feature for privacy. There is also search feature for names & addresses. Address fields that can be entered are: last name, first name, company, home#, office#, fax#, mobile#, e-mail, address, city, state, ZIP, country, and note. What is even nicer – it searches by last name.

This has revolutionized the way we view appointment books and calendars that most have already opted to switch to electronic personal organizer. It is a handy and pocket-sized device that we can bring along with us, anywhere, as it fits into our pockets. If there are adverse reactions to the use of this product, positive reviews and reactions overshadow the negative. Definitely, the electronic personal organizer has made our lives easier and more convenient by making us remember things we ought to remember.
